Why I Created This Brand

Why I Created This Brand

This brand did not start because I wanted to create “just another sleepwear label.”

It started because I was genuinely frustrated with how uncomfortable most women’s sleepwear felt.

I have always hated being hot at night. But at the same time, I also love being covered up. And somehow, those two things rarely seem to go together in women’s sleepwear.

Everything felt like a compromise.

If it covered you properly, it was heavy, restrictive, or too hot.
If it was lightweight and breathable, it was usually tiny shorts and clingy fabric that barely stayed in place.

And honestly… I was over it.

The Problem With Most Sleepwear

I cannot stand button-up pyjama sets.

Not because they are ugly.
Because they annoy me.

The second you sit down, the buttons pull apart and expose your skin. Then when you roll around at night, they shift, twist, and open up even more.

You spend half the night adjusting your clothes instead of actually sleeping.

I wanted sleepwear that stayed comfortable no matter how much you moved.

I wanted coverage without restriction.

Summer Sleepwear Was Somehow Even Worse

In summer, I live in shorts and singlets.

But finding shorts that are actually comfortable? Nearly impossible.

Everything was:

  • Too short
  • Too tight
  • Riding up constantly
  • Clingy in all the wrong places

There is nothing relaxing about having to pull your shorts down every five minutes just to feel covered.

I wanted shorts with:
✔ A little more length
✔ A relaxed fit
✔ Soft fabric that moved with you
✔ Enough coverage to actually feel comfortable

Not shorts designed to look cute for five seconds standing still.

Real comfort matters more than that.

The Tiny Things Started Driving Me Crazy

You know those annoying little clothing things you cannot stop noticing once they bother you?

That was me.

Scratchy label tags rubbing against the back of your neck.
The random sharp corner that keeps poking you every time you move.
Tight waistbands digging into your stomach the second you sit down.
Drawstrings constantly needing to be tied, adjusted, or tightened.

None of it felt relaxing.

And when you are trying to sleep, even the smallest irritation suddenly feels ten times worse.

So I knew from the beginning:

  • No irritating neck tags
  • No restrictive waistbands
  • No constant adjusting
  • No unnecessary discomfort

Because comfort should feel effortless.

I Wanted Sleepwear That Felt Effortless

I do not like clingy fabrics.

I do not want sleepwear that highlights every curve or sticks to your body when you get warm.

I wanted fabric that felt:

  • Light
  • Airy
  • Soft
  • Relaxed

That is why bamboo became such a huge part of this brand.

The first time I wore bamboo fabric properly, I immediately noticed the difference.

It felt breathable without feeling thin. Soft without feeling heavy. It moved beautifully and never felt restrictive.

It was the first fabric that genuinely made me feel comfortable while still feeling covered.

Why We Added Stretch to Our Designs

One thing I knew immediately was that I never wanted this sleepwear to feel stiff or restrictive.

Sleepwear should move with your body.

So we added stretch into our pieces to make sure there is:

  • Plenty of movement
  • No pulling
  • No restriction
  • No uncomfortable tightness when you sit, sleep, or lounge

Comfort should feel effortless, not something you constantly need to adjust.

The Pocket Situation Was Non-Negotiable

I am completely addicted to lip balm.

I always need one near me. Always.

And somehow women’s clothing still acts like we do not need pockets.

So every single piece of our nightwear includes pockets because:

  • They are practical
  • They make life easier
  • Women deserve functional clothing

Whether it is lip balm, your phone, tissues, snacks, or absolutely nothing at all… pockets matter.

This Brand Was Built Around Real Comfort

Not fake “fashion comfort.”

Real comfort.

The kind that matters after:

  • Hours of wear
  • Tossing and turning
  • Hot summer nights
  • Long exhausting days

I wanted sleepwear that felt good the second you put it on and still felt good hours later.

More Than Sleepwear

This brand became about creating pieces women genuinely want to live in.

Sleepwear you can:

  • Relax in
  • Sleep in
  • Lounge in
  • Run errands in
  • Throw on with sneakers and a jacket

Comfort should not stop at the bedroom door.

For Women Who Just Want to Feel Comfortable

This brand is for women who:

  • Hate overheating at night
  • Love being covered without feeling trapped
  • Want shorts that stay put
  • Want breathable fabrics
  • Want softness without clinginess
  • Hate restrictive waistbands
  • Cannot stand scratchy labels
  • Want comfort without sacrificing style

And honestly?

It is for women who are tired of settling for sleepwear that never quite feels right.

Because once you experience truly comfortable sleepwear, you realise how much you were putting up with before.

And you should never have to compromise on comfort.
