Why is The Night Edit exhibiting?
The expo brings together thousands of people with disability and hundreds of product and service providers. Run by ImpactInstitute as part of the My Future, My Choice program, it’s an opportunity to explore options, ask questions and connect with providers in one place.
We’re exhibiting because everyday clothing comfort matters. Many people spend a significant part of the day at home, in bed or wearing loungewear. Soft fabric, a comfortable fit and easy-to-use details can make a practical difference to how clothing feels during those hours.
Our sleepwear is designed around those simple priorities: breathable bamboo fabric, lightweight comfort, pull-on designs and functional pockets. It is clothing, not a medical or therapeutic product, and visitors can decide for themselves whether the fabric and fit suit their preferences.
Why I Created This Brand
I started The Night Edit after waking at 3am drenched and uncomfortable. The cotton nightwear I was wearing felt damp against my skin, while buttons and drawstrings added more details to deal with when I wanted to settle back to sleep.
I wanted sleepwear that felt soft, breathable and uncomplicated. That idea became a collection of bamboo nightwear designed for comfort, with no buttons or drawstrings and pockets in every piece.
What can visitors see at our stand?
We’ll bring a selection of our bamboo sleepwear so visitors can see the fabric up close, explore the different styles, ask about sizing and try the fit.

The range includes:
- Nightie Dress with pockets – a relaxed, sleeveless style with a flowy fit.
- Long Sleeve Pyjama Set – a lightweight set with a soft waistband and pockets.
- Singlet & Shorts Set – a simple option for warmer nights and lounging.

The collection uses muted colours, including black, navy, sage and Dusty Plum. Every piece has pockets and is designed without buttons or drawstrings. Visitors can browse the Nightie Dress, Singlet & Shorts Set and Long Sleeve Pyjama Set online before or after the expo.

Come find our stand and feel the fabric for yourself. Our booth number will be confirmed closer to the event — check the Expo Guide and floor plan for the latest exhibitor information.

What can make everyday sleepwear more comfortable?
Clothing comfort is personal. A fabric or fit that feels good to one person may not suit another, so it can help to focus on the details that matter to you.
When considering sleepwear or loungewear, you might look at:
- Fabric feel: Is it soft against your skin, or does it feel irritating?
- Breathability: Does the fabric feel lightweight and comfortable in your usual environment?
- Fit: Does the garment move with you without feeling restrictive?
- Fastenings: Would a pull-on design without buttons or drawstrings feel simpler?
- Practical details: Are pockets useful for your routine?
Bamboo fabric is often chosen for its soft feel, breathability and temperature-regulating properties. The Night Edit’s styles are designed to feel lightweight and move with the body, but personal preference and fit are important. You can read more about our approach in The Night Edit blog, including our NDIS-sector article on everyday sleepwear comfort.
If sleep disruption, night sweats or other sleep-related concerns persist, speak to your doctor. Sleepwear is not medical care, and a clinician can help assess health factors.
How does this connect with the NDIS?
The Night Edit welcomes participants, families, support coordinators and support workers to visit, look at the range and ask questions. Our NDIS connection is about everyday clothing comfort and choice, not disability-specific treatment or outcomes.
The Night Edit does not claim that its products are NDIS approved, registered or funded. Plans are individual. If you are considering a purchase in relation to an NDIS plan, check with your plan manager or support coordinator about how it might fit your circumstances.
